Fabric

We work with a group of women that have HIV and teach them how to sew so they can make money to live and support their families.

They are learning how to make different types of quilts so I decided I would give them some practice...

They are making me a patch work quilt using these fabrics.
I cannot wait to use my blanket.

(I love orange)

  3. I noticed a lot of creative designed fabrics in Africa and brought my mom back some. A quilt in Africa? It gets cold there? :)

  6. I see orange and think of you :) I got two quilts when I was there last year but I don't think you saw either of them. One was from Ubuzima for a wedding gift, but the other was from one of the organizations I interviewed with for my research. Beautiful stuff :) Enjoy! I'm hoping to get back to Kigali soon. We'll have to catch up.
